I just want to thank you very much indeed on behalf of the project team and York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for all of your hard work on the fairly last-minute creation of a staff room in the York Emergency Department Extension Building.
I know that all of you in the Brebur team went above and beyond to remove and reinstate the walls as well as installing the new ceiling in the staff room. Your work greatly helped to deliver the staff room, which will really benefit the fantastic clinical staff in the Emergency Department.
I just wanted you to know that your hard work had not gone unnoticed and that it was hugely appreciated by us and by the clinical team. So, thank you very much indeed for everything you did for the whole project and for the staff room area in particular.
As a main contractor, you are always looking for those suppliers who make a positive contribution. The ones that have the people that are willing to go that extra mile to make good delivery even better. Always providing fresh and innovative ideas to make construction safer, eliminate waste and maintain programme and margins for all. Those that will work with you to find solutions rather than look for blame and work as a team to ensure successful outcomes despite the often difficult circumstances we find ourselves in.
At BAM we look for suppliers to invest in our business, as we invest in theirs’s, and in BREBUR we have found the perfect partner. A partner who shares our culture and values and with whom we have built a longstanding relationship, through both the good times and the bad, whilst providing continued success for both companies.
The collaborative approach and advice provided by Brebur at the pre-construction stage of two-stage tenders has resulted in construction risks being minimised and ensured that projects have been delivered successfully, on time and to a good quality, for our mutual Clients.

The relationship between British Gypsum and Brebur can be traced right back to the day they were formed as we worked with them on some of their very first projects, and are still working closely with them today. We have always found them to be a company who pays a lot of attention to detail and also one that is keen to explore new innovative ideas and products.
